‘Tanu Weds Manu’ boosts box-office collections

As per the latest details unveiled by Box-Office India, ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ saw a 20-25 percent increment in its collection. The film accumulated 4.10 crore nett on Saturday, while the Friday collection was 3.50 crore nett.

Hence, this romantic-comedy genre is expected to glean Rs 11-11.50 crore nett as its weekend collection.

Anand L. Rai’s depiction of Punjabi culture in the film has probably mesmerized the audience.

‘Tanu Weds Manu’ stars Kangana Ranaut, Jimmy Shergill and R. Madhavan in the lead roles, apart from Ravi Kissen, Deepak Dobriyal, Rajendra Gupta, K K Raina, Eijaz Khan and Swara Bhaskar.
