How to fill ICET Entrance Form

The Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) is carried out for the admission of students into the MCA and MBA courses that are bring offered by many Universities in Andhra Pradesh. The colleges that are affiliated to these universities also take in students who clear this exam. Students can avail the applications from designated post offices or from the e- seva centres in the State. In addition to this, it is possible for them to download the forms from the official website of the Andhra University.

Instructions to be followed for filling in form

The candidates must make sure that they have entered all the details appropriately in the form. Details about the exam centre and other pertaining data should be provided clearly in the formCandidates who are filling via the online method must fill all the entries given in the form. After the form is submitted, the entries will be displayed again. The candidates will be given the opportunity to edit them if required. Subsequent to the final submission of the form, details of the content cannot be edited.The candidates must then take 2-3 copies of the application. One should be kept for further reference and the second copy must be sent to the address of the Andhra University.

Exemptions to be taken care while filling in form

Provided below are some exemptions for the candidates. They must be aware of this before they fill the application.

The candidates should be citizens of India.Candidates who wish to appear for the exams must have a pass in their graduation. They must have scored atleast 50 percent marks. Relaxation of 5 percent is given for candidates of the reserved communities.Candidates who are going to write their final year exam are eligible to write the ICET exam too.

The application can be directly be purchased by paying Rs. 250/-. Forms that are downloaded; can be filled and sent to the address of the Andhra University alongside a DD of the appropriate amount.

Last date for receipt of applications

The application of the ICET exam should be submitted alongside all the proper documents before the 24th of March, 2011. In case the students are not able to submit the form at the said date, they can submit it on the 8th of April, 2011 along with a late fee of Rs. 500/- and on the 13th of April, 2011 with a late fee of Rs. 2000/-. Those applications that are received after the said date and time or are incomplete will be rejected.

Acknowledgement of exam application form

Candidates who have submitted the form offline will receive the acknowledgement card upon the reception of their forms. Those candidates who have registered online will be able to check their status by means of the web pages of ICET2011 by providing their application number. The status as well as print out of the application for applicants who have registered online will be available almost immediately upon providing their name or number of the application to the given columns. This facility is only available for online applicants.
