Hindus send greetings to Christians on Lent


Hindus have wished happiness and peace to Christian communities world over for the upcoming Christian season of Lent, which starts March nine.


Distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a release in Nevada (USA) today, expressed warmest greetings to the Christian friends as they begin the season of Lent, wishing that their meditations lead meaningfully to the celebration of Easter.


Rajan Zed, who is president of Universal Society of Hinduism, stressed that all religions should work together for a just and peaceful world. Dialogue would bring us mutual enrichment, he added.
