IBSAT is an aptitude test conducted by the Federation of Universities (FedUni), for students seeking admission into the management programs. IBSAT consists of multiple choice questions. IBSAT is for 2 hours duration and is aimed to test the applicant’s ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.

The results of the IBSAT 2010 will be hosted online on www.ibsat.org around January 15, 2011. The details of the score (in terms of percentiles)obtained in the test will be intimated to all applicants.

Verbal Ability Analysis:

For 50 Questions Attempt of 27 to 28 questions correct Questions Would be Good Score

Reading Comprehension Analysis:

For 25 Questions Attempt of 16 to 18 questions correct Questions Would be Good Score

Quantitative Ability Analysis:

For 25 Questions Attempt of 10 to 12 questions correct Questions Would be Good Score

Data Interpretation Analysis:

For 25 Questions Attempt of 16 to 18 questions correct Questions Would be Good Score

Finally, Expected Cut-Off for a call is 60 %

According to TCY the sectional cutoff is approximately 68. The level of difficulty of 2009 is little higher than 2008. In 2008 the expected cutoff was 74+. The expected cut for institutes are-

* IBS, Hyderabad – 68+
* IBS, Bangalore – 65+
* IBS, Mumbai – 65+
* IBS, Gurgaon – 62+
* Others 60+
